Our Story
Pioneering the Future of Life Science Laboratory Automation
Founded in 2018 by Dr. Dimitris Kyriakou, EFEVRE TECH LTD is a Cyprus-based company at the forefront of innovative life science laboratory automation. With a strong background in Molecular Biology and a decade of experience as a researcher at the University of Cyprus, Dr. Dimitris Kyriakou envisioned a solution to address the irreproducibility crisis plaguing the scientific community. His expertise and passion for innovation inspired him to assemble a dedicated team to pursue this ambitious goal.
In 2018, EFEVRE TECH LTD was recognized for its groundbreaking work with the prestigious Youth Entrepreneurship Award, supported by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry of Cyprus. This grant enabled the company to develop and refine their flagship product, AMGEL (AutoMated GEneral Laboratory), which made its successful debut in 2021. The cutting-edge technology attracted the attention of the Agricultural Research Institute of Cyprus, which allowed the company to reach their first client. Since then, the company's robotic automation system has garnered numerous local and international awards and grants.
EFEVRE TECH LTD's commitment to continuous innovation is evident in its robust research and development initiatives, such as the development of the advanced AMGEL Pro 24-7 Robotic Model. The company's recent growth and expansion have set new benchmarks for European production standards, embracing vertical integration from ideation to manufacturing and distribution.
